Your own Instagram exhibit at the Art Institute of Chicago.


Sprint had just launched the nation’s newest network. To prove to Chicago that it was better than the old one, we invited people to take one collective Chicago self-portrait on Instagram.


An interactive experience where people could use the network to have their Instagram feed take over the installation and have their own exhibit at the Art Insitute of Chicago—that they could then share, on the new network.

All built on an custom Air application using VDMX language to create bespoke, on-demand visual effects inspired by the users' photos.
